About Us

Welcome to the Powerlifting Hungary website!

Powerlifting Hungary Sport Association (Erőemelők Magyarországért Sportegyesület) is an organization established with the aim of making independent powerlifting in Hungary more transparent, organized, and accessible.

Our goal is to build a community led by athletes that supports competitors and provides opportunities both nationally and internationally.

Our organization cooperates with several international powerlifting organizations, including WRPF (World Raw Powerlifting Federation), IPL (International Powerlifting League), WPA (World Powerlifting Alliance), as well as GPA / IPO (Global Powerlifting Alliance / International Powerlifting Organization).

Among our association members are athletes, club leaders, referees, and professionals who actively contribute to the development of the community.

We believe that powerlifting is not only a sport, but also a community.

Organizational Structure and Operation

The website is owned and operated by the Powerlifting Hungary Sport Association (Erőemelők Magyarországért Sportegyesület).

Competitions and event operations are carried out by ANDRÁSI Üzletviteli Kft. as a contracted partner, based on event organization rights granted by the association.

The handling of entry fees, operation of payment systems, as well as competition-related administrative and operational services are managed by ANDRÁSI Üzletviteli Kft.

The association is responsible for the professional community and international cooperation activities, while ANDRÁSI Üzletviteli Kft. supports the practical organization and operation of events.

The Powerlifting Hungary Sport Association and ANDRÁSI Üzletviteli Kft. operate in contractual cooperation while remaining legally and financially separate entities, and each acts as a data controller in relation to the activities carried out within its own scope of operation.

The activities represented by Powerlifting Hungary Sport Association (Erőemelők Magyarországért Sportegyesület) and the events published on this website are conducted within independent frameworks and do not form part of any official national sports federation system.

Powerlifting Hungary Sport Association (Erőemelők Magyarországért Sportegyesület) does not qualify as an official national sports federation.

Participation in competitions is subject to the acceptance of the athlete declaration.
